Currently, Rozalie Hirs is writing her DMA dissertation entitled "Microtonal Systems in Contemporary Music, for which she received a dissertation fellowship from the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds, Netherlands, in 2003. During the spring of 2004, Rozalie Hirs is young fellow of the Akademie der Künste, Berlin, Germany. In 2005, her third poetry book Speling will be published by Querido, Amsterdam, Netherlands.
