Norbert Scholly/Guit/Comp Born in 1964 in Bardenberg, he first held a guitar at twelve years of age, later he played in different musical projects, amongst others in acoustic guitar duos. He can look back on a formidable list of musicians with whom he has already worked. They are Larry Corryell, Bireli Lagrene, Peter Erskine, Benny Golson and WDR Big Band, amongst others. In addition there have been radio and TV productions. In 1985 he won the best soloist prize of the EUROPEAN JAZZ COMPETITION. CD releases with Danny Gottlieb, Olivier Peters, Ramesh Shotham round off his extensive work.
