Mosaic functions as a chamber music band, sometimes delicate, sometimes very expressive, with a good sense of groove, humor and always with an open and communicative group sound. All compositions are written by the group members, making perfect use of the extraordinary combination of violin / percussion, saxophone / bass clarinet , electric guitar and bass guitar. In October 2000, Mosaic won the "Jur Naessens Muziek Prijs". In the autumn of 2001 they toured through the Netherlands (20 concerts in total) and released their first album, "YES!".
