Achim Krämer Peter Eisold Martin Blume Fank Köllges Hans Kanty - one of the founders of the ensemble - died suddenly on october, 15, 2005. "His smile disappeared like the cat's smile in Alice's wonderland - always the last thing to see..." We hope that his initiatives live on... The "Modern Percussion Quintet" combines 220 years of improvised music with new sounds. Over the past 20 years each member of this unique project has left his mark in the musical history books of the Rhein/Ruhr area. The paths of the different members always seem to intertwine, so they have decided that in this new century they will get together to write a new chapter. Each member of the "Modern Percussion Quintett" transmits the very best of his personal music style so that any audience is assured of an enthralling evening of contemporary music. Sounds:
